Message from your Administrator

Dear Fraternity,

The final phase of the 2016-17 Measure H grant is almost complete.  The fence looks wonderful and so far is doing a great job of keeping the transients off our property. It's nice to drive into our Lodge and not see a gang of people sitting out front or passed out and lying on the ground. The landscaping should be complete by the time you are reading this. 

I want to thank Ramona Luna Barkey for writing and proposing our request for the 2017-18 Measure H grant money. We are going to receive an additional $50,000 for improvements to the outside of our Lodge. Details will be coming soon.
 
Make sure you get your tickets to the Hawaiian Luau on Saturday July 22nd. As in last years, it again will be held outside in the back from 6:00 - 10:00 pm. This has turned into a great event. So don't miss out! 

It's hard to believe, but our 5th annual "Rock'n the Ribs at the Moose" will be on Saturday August 5th. We've expanded to 16 teams. Several other Lodges from District 4 will be in competition. We have a great band lined up for you, called Proxy. They were KCRA's A List winner of best cover band in 2014. Please get you tickets asap. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. 

As this is being published, several officers and I will be in Tampa, Florida attending the annual International Moose convention. I look forward to bringing back new ideas that could help our Lodge and members.
